To celebrate National Tap Dance Day, DC Dance Collective is holding a workshop with Chloe Arnold & Ayodele Casel

Chloe Arnold

This is a great opportunity to work with Chloe who has fabulous feet and rythm. She recently performed with Debbie Allen at the Kennedy Center. She is originally from the DC area but now works in LA.

Ayodele Casel

Ayodele Casel (performer, choreographer, actor), is a native New Yorker who has worked professionally as an actor and tap dancer for eleven years. Her work as a choreographer has earned grants from Aaron Davis Hall and The Salon Series at The Apollo. Casel also collaborated with acclaimed composer Rob Kapilow on Paddywack: A Tap Dance Concerto, which premiered at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Her TV and film credits include Third Watch, Law and Order, The Jamie Foxx Show and Bojangles. She has created and presented her own works for Lincoln Center "Out of Doors", Joyce SoHo, Dance Theater Workshop, Symphony Space, The Triad Theater and Joe's Pub at The Public Theater. Ms. Casel has appeared on the cover of Dance Spirit, American Theater Magazine and The Village Voice. She has worked with the greatest tap dancers including Gregory Hines and Savion Glover as the only female in his company N.Y.O.T.s and as co-founder of Tandem Act Productions she continues striving to make Tap Dancing a relevant presence in the arts.
